We're making it a dozen complete!
The Twelfth European Ural Meeting is happening!

But ATTENTION: This will almost certainly be the last edition of our Ural meeting, and we thought we would hold the last European meeting at the European headquarters of Ural, located at Albrechtstraße 26, 4614 Marchtrenk.

Sure, our location is a flat industrial park. It's a warehouse, not a medieval castle. But amidst the "hallowed" halls of the Ural importer, there's plenty for Ural enthusiasts to discover, and we certainly know how to transform an industrial park into an event venue. We have ample meadows around the building for camping, plenty of hotels and rooms in the region, and the legendary sidecar rally on Saturday – with around 100 Urals in an impressive line – naturally takes us through our magnificent Upper Austrian countryside, offering stunning views.

The ride starts on Saturday, August 29th, at 10:00 a.m. from the Congenia parking at Albrechtstraße 26 and ends there again at approximately 4:00 p.m. The tour takes us to the Mühlviertel region and is about 130 km long, barring any mishaps.

Characteristics of the ride: Not a race. More of a leisurely ride, enjoying the scenery. No highways, mostly secondary roads with the occasional gravel section.

At midday, we will cross the Danube river to Obermühl with our sidecars. The Danube river is wide and deep there, but calm and peaceful; no whirls or monsters to be expected. In Obermühl, we will fortify ourselves at the Aumüller fish restaurant. We will need the sustenance, because immediately after lunch, we will climb the wooded slopes on the north bank of the Danube river with our sidecars, following a Roman road. The Romans built and paved beautiful roads back then, but north of the Danube river, they used natural stones they found beside the road for the paving. That's why the cobblestones above Obermühl are somewhat rough and worn. For some sidecar riders, the road surface can be a bit of a challenge, but certainly not for Ural riders. We'll manage. And it'll be fun.

To participate in the ride, we need to collect a toll of €6 per motorcycle before we start.
