IntroductionPK IMZ, the Irbit Motorcycle Plant is located in Irbit, a small town 250 km east of the Ural mountains in Siberia. Since 1939 this plant is building sidecar motorcycles and it is the only factory which produces factory ready sidecar motorcycles.
Basically our models are all equipped with 750 cc engines. The 750 cc engine was introduced in 2002. Before Ural had a 650 cc engine. The first Urals also had a 750 cc engine but very old SV technology. In 2014 Ural introduced electronic fuel injection, and disc brake on all three wheels.
As individual our motorcycles are, as individual are our Ural-drivers.

Just some general informations:
You can choose between sidecar motorcycles without sidecar drive and motorcycles with sidecar drive.
Without sidecar drive:
Ural cT is a very basic version and is equipped with 18“ wheels, introduced in 2015.
The Tourist is the "standard" of a Ural sidecar motorcycle. It comes on 19" wheels. Both cT and Tourist are delivered with leading link fork on front. In England the Tourist is called "Dalesman"
Retro was introduced to the market in 2004. The Ural Retro is equipped with telescopic front fork and with 18" wheels and therefore has less ground clearance.
With sidecar drive:
-Ural T TWD
These 3 models are basically the same, the differences are equipment. Ural T TWD is the basic version, pure and straight.
Ranger is the top model of Ural with Two Wheel Drive. It is designed in more military look, like Nato camouflage green/brown and Urban Camo, less military in unicolour Tundra or Asphalt. All Rangers come with special military features which the Sportsman does not have.
The Sportsman is the "civil" version of the Ranger, that means it is produced in "normal" colours like black with white pin stripes or green metallic.
Unfortunately T TWD, Ranger and Sportsman are not available as a left hand sidecar (English version) because the production of this "other way round" is technically not possible.
Solo models: Are not offered in Europe anymore since 2008 due to missing European homologation EURO 3. In 2016 ABS will be necessary on all solo motorcycles, this will definitely end registration of Ural solo models in Europe.
